Director of Youth Ministries-
Central UMC is a 550 member congregation in the heart of the New River Valley,in the city of Radford, Virginia. We are committed to investing in the lives of our youth and are currently looking for a Director of Youth Ministries. This position will lead the youth ministry (grades 6-12) into a journey of faith, preparing them for lifelong discipleship and inspire them to carry the love of Christ into the community utilizing the United Methodist doctrine, policies, and procedures.
We are searching for someone with a Bachelor's degree and demonstrated experience leading a comprehensive youth ministry program for 6-12 grades. Exceptional communication, planning, administrative, teaching and recruiting skills are needed and required. This person must have the ability to utilize technology in leading the ministry. Must have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and be able to articulate it, a team player with a passion for youth ministry.
