Central UMC offers activities and group time, as well as, Sunday School and Worship time for the various age groups. We offer a Wednesday after school program for children K-5th grade, a week of VBS each summer, children's worship for K-2nd graders each Sunday during the 11:00am Worship hour, and different holiday children's events. We have a Tuesday after school youth group for 6th graders. Our JR and SR high youth meet on Sunday's for group time and Bible Study. Our youth are active in District and Conference events. We take part in youth conferences and mission opportunities on a regular basis.
It is our goal to reach out to other area youth and children and provide opportunities for Christian growth and fellowship. The children and youth at Central bless me continuously. Their excitement and energy are contagious. Their hearts yearn to understand and know Jesus Christ and God's word. I am blessed too, by the support of many involved parents and congregational members who volunteer to help lead, teach, and pray for our youth and children. It does, indeed, require an entire congregation to raise Godly children.
