Mike has served for over 30 years in ministry in the United Methodist Church. He is married to Virginia and they have three older daughters and and four dearly loved grandchildren. At Central United Methodist, we believe God has called us into action to help manifest on earth the Kingdom He has created in Heaven for our personal lives and for the life of our community. Together, we are striving to become the kind of church our Lord desires - a church that glorifies God and makes disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have been married to Terri for twelve years. We have a daughter, Beth, and a son, Logan. We are living in Dublin. I have been a pastor for four years. I worked for my family's general contracting business for twenty-three years. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Tech. I presently attend the weekend Course of Study at Duke University.
Director of Music- Alice Armentrout
Alice received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. She has taught in public and private schools for twenty years and has also toured with children's choral programs along the east coast. Alice is the owner/director of Music Comes To Town Studio, and the Director of Music at Central. She resides in Radford, with her husband Scott and sons, Dylan and Zan.
Interim Positions:
At this time we have Martha Patterson who is working as our Church Secretary who can be contacted at office@centralmethodistchurch.com. She is a member of the Wytheville Presbyterian Church and enjoys doing community service through the Wytheville Ladies Ruritan Club.
We have David Mitchell who is our Pianist who can be contacted at davidlee@vt.edu .
Also, we have Eric Barton who is working with our Youth Ministries as an Interim.
